Grammy award winner and Kanye West collaborator Mike Dean came to us with the idea to market specialized headphones that leveraged planar magnetic sound technology.

After thoroughly combing the market, our team found brands that fell adjacent to our product and were able to use their findings to draft psychographic profiles. Their findings were short, simple and taught us that there were many young starving artists that loved quality sound hardware but simply couldn’t afford it. Helm could reach these consumers by being their firstProfessional purchase without breaking the bank.

We developed a nimble iconoclastic identity befitting a disruptor. The aesthetic would balance an edgy urban- influenced look with sharp detail. Our team decided to use a black and white color palette that would help the product fit into any environment.
