{"id":822,"date":"2014-12-22T04:24:21","date_gmt":"2014-12-22T04:24:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imagemme.com\/newsite\/?p=822"},"modified":"2017-04-25T18:09:32","modified_gmt":"2017-04-25T18:09:32","slug":"were-feeling-glades-branding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imagemme.com\/newsite\/were-feeling-glades-branding\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re \u201cFeeling\u201d Glade\u2019s Branding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In their new high-budget branding campaign, Glade is attempting to redefine what it is they sell: feelings.<\/p>\n<p>No, they haven\u2019t branched off into pharmaceuticals; rather they\u2019ve put a twist on how we perceive their product.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps because scent is widely understood to provide the greatest recall of all\u00a0five senses, Glade\u2019s new pop-up store in NYC\u2019s trendy Meatpacking district is all about the feelings their different scents evoke.<\/p>\n<p>The first interesting thing about the pop-up is that, on the outside, it is completely unbranded. One indication that it may have failed to create the impact it hoped for is that its youtube spot has less than 9,000 hits after three weeks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Were these dollars well spent? Did Glade have to build up to this fresh branding approach with more interesting conventional advertising?<\/p>\n<p>Either way, they certainly deserve credit for creating a memorable experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In their new high-budget branding campaign, Glade is attempting to redefine what it is they sell: feelings.
