Below are the Final Four participants in the 2014 Before-and-After NCAA Logo Design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UCONN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BEFORE:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-468\" src=\"https:\/\/imagemme.com\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/uconn_logo-953x1024.jpg\" alt=\"uconn_logo\" width=\"953\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/imagemme.com\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/uconn_logo.jpg 953w, https:\/\/imagemme.com\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/uconn_logo-279x300.jpg 279w, https:\/\/imagemme.com\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/uconn_logo-768x825.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 953px) 100vw, 953px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This logo wasn\u2019t terrible, though a little too friendly to inspire the necessary animalistic ferocity among players and fans. Not only did it suffer from a particularly bad case of the 90\u2019s, but the combination of the logo\u2019s menacing snarl, rabid eyes, and Wolverine claws reportedly inspired fans and players to fall down and play dead. It was originally designed as a tribute to the drunk MSU football fans that attended winter games shirtless, and has come to have some sort of association with the school mascot.
