We were thrilled when Sarah Biggers approached us with the idea for a new sister brand to her successful makeup line, Clove + Hallow. The goal was to offer the same high-quality formulations at a more accessible price point, while also prioritizing sustainability in the packaging materials, inks, and treatments. Building on the strong foundation of Clove + Hallow, we set out to create an identity for the new brand that was youthful and lighthearted, in contrast to the previous line’s more serious aesthetic. It was a pleasure to work with Sarah and bring this exciting new brand to life.

With the branding for the new line, Clover, established, we turned our attention to developing packaging that was both sustainable and visually appealing. Clover’s boxes are 100% recyclable and made from previously recycled materials. The components are a combination of earth friendly materials like post consumer recycled plastics, sugarcane bioplastic, and of course the endlessly reusable glass.
With the brand and packaging for Clover in production, we focused on creating product merchandising displays that were both visually appealing and sustainable. Using wood, we designed displays that were reusable and further emphasized the brand’s commitment to the environment. We also helped to design planograms and provided posters and marketing materials for their first trade show appearance, ensuring that the brand was effectively represented and promoted at the event.
We were excited to see Clover’s exclusive launch in RiteAid stores nationwide and the buzz it generated on social media thanks to influencers sharing captivating launch boxes. We look forward to watching Clover’s continued growth and success in the future.
This project was done alongside the final phases of product development resulting in changing features and product looks throughout the project timeline. In order to stay up-to-date, we worked directly with the Clover marketing team to ensure the final result met the launch window and featured the correct product information.
